First Aid Courses
The Health and Safety (First-Aid) Regulations 1981 require employers to provide suitable first aid equipment, facilities and personnel so that immediate assistance can be given to employees if they are injured or become ill at work.
Regulation 3(2) states that in order to provide first aid to injured or ill employees, a person isn’t suitable unless they have undergone:appropriate training and qualifications approved by HSE or awarding body
This 1 day training course is a fantastic addition to any CV and will enhance work opportunities, it enables a first-aider to give emergency first aid to someone who is injured or becomes ill while at work or in the home.
Upskilling Courses
It is supported by the SIA to meet the mandatory SIA top-up requirements for Door Supervisors who undertook their qualification prior to the QCF Door Supervision qualifications and who need to renew their license. It comprises two units:
- - Physical Intervention Skills for the Private Security Industry covering knowledge and practical skills
- - Safety Awareness for Door Supervisors which covers knowledge of counter-terrorism issues, first aid, awareness and requirements in dealing with children and young people.
DS Courses
With this one course you can apply for your Frontline SIA Door Supervisor licence to work in Pubs, Club and licenced venue security, Security Guarding, Static Guarding, Shop/Retail Security, Rail Security, Construction site security, Access control, Event and Festival Security (Sports Stadiums, Arenas etc), plus many more. This is the best course to do as it covers you for most roles.
**This course is a pre-requiste for all Door Supervisor and Security Guard Courses** You must hold a valid Level 3 First Aid Certificate, with a minimum of 1 year remaining, when attending your SIA course**
CCTV Operative Courses
The CCTV Operative Course is designed by the Security Industry Authority (SIA) to give you a full understanding of your role as a security professional. The course covers everything from the legal aspects of CCTV monitoring to practical lessons on equipment and usage.
