We aim to keep you updated with the latest news in the world of security and with our company
So as the unpredictable weather continues to blight us, we can look back proudly at recent events JAKK has provided cover for, from the fabulous Fleetwood Bac performing at the Sub Rooms, to the Cheltenham 7’s festival and Stroud Beer Festival, we have plenty coming up, including Mr Scruff also at the Subrooms, to car auctions, private parties, firework events and weddings.
The phone calls and emails have been continuous as we face the festivities winter brings us, and that’s not too far away!! Security is being allocated already for Christmas and New Years Eve parties, and gifts are being bought to say ‘thank you’ to all of our hard working staff who worked tirelessly all around the clock.
It isn’t just Christmas however, with November bringing in the numerous firework displays all over the county. JAKK staff will be at a lot of them, keeping you safe and out of harms way.
All vetting files have now been completed in an attempt to staff to the highest level possible with the new work coming in from new clients for ‘key holding’ amongst other additional contracts we are quoting for.
We have also secured work at a new and secret location… watch this space!
We had a photoshoot at the office last week. Local photographer Rob, from Wheatman Photography came in and re shot all of our head shots, and of course our “team photo” which headed our last blog. Please do take a look at our new profile pictures.
The C.O role continues to be a positive, targeting areas of anti social behaviour for the Council, with great feedback being delivered from the officers to the Council.
And to finish with, a few facts about crime within Gloucestershire coming off the back end of last year, and the reason JAKK is playing a prominent role in trying to reduce these stats:
Crime in Gloucester compared with crime in similar areas
In the year ending December 2023, the crime rate in Gloucester was higher than the average crime rate across similar areas.
Crime in Gloucester compared with crime in other areas in the Gloucestershire force area
In the year ending December 2023, the crime rate in Gloucester was higher than average for the Gloucestershire force area.
We have work to do! Stay safe.
